near the end of May we finally got all the electrical done... at which point it was time to start re-installing the inner shell! boy, that was a fun giant jigsaw puzzle to figure out! after it was all put back together, we taped everything off and hubby sprayed it down with a nice light fresh blue-green color.
next was some nifty ceiling lights modified from standard house lights,
and some 'reading' lamps for the front
, then all the plumbing started going in.
the beginning of June saw the addition of a new valve
to control the exit of waste from the grey and black tanks, and a port to plug our power cord into.
we also replaced the nasty old water inlet with a nice new one with a regulator and backflow preventer built in
, and plumbed the system so that with the flip of one valve's handle, you could run off city water, or fill the tank. then the framing for the bed was started,
with the fresh tank installed just behind it. which leads us up to the current month.
